Are there still Basic Celullar Phones???

HELP!

Well, now that I made up my mind to purchase an IPad instead of an IPhone, I have been looking all over to upgrade my present 10 year old phone to a more modern one and the only thing out there are still some flip phones (which I have). I wanted one that has a slider, but you do not have to connect to the internet, after all that is why I am getting a IPad.
I would hate to pay double charges. Does anyone have any suggestions for a basic cell phone that takes good pictures, decent length battery and easy to use, comfortable to hold and that has a touch screen? I can buy it on a Contract or not. Thank you.
