I recently had to change me Xfinity (comcast) password. I entered the new password in my ipad and now I can not send or receive email but I can on my andoid phone. I entered the same new password on the phone. Any ideas? I am not that tech savy.
@Jeddy Just a guess but maybe there is a mistype on your Xfinity password on your IPad compared to your android. I would go into settings on your IPad then passwords and then scroll down to Xfinity, click on that then you will see your user name and some dots for your password. Click on the dots you will see the password. If it is not correct you can delete it (you will see the option) and re-enter it. I think you typed it wrong on your IPad but correctly on your Android. Good luck, hopefully that is what is wrong.

I had the same prompt and it is for your e-mail account. You need to get into the internet mail settings and change the password. You find it through settings.
