I have only one cable outlet in the den.  Would like another one or two outlets in different rooms.  Is this expensive to do?

Since there hasn't been a response, I'll offer my experience, FWIW.  

I dont' have Comcast, but I have Charter.  A few years ago I wanted to add a cable outlet in my kitchen.  The guy came out and wired it from the box, or whatever that it out there on the side of my house, and charged me $40.

That was pretty affordable, I figured.  My husband tried to tell me  'oh no, I don't know about that.  It probably costs like a thousand dollars'.   LM AO.  Not so much.   Anyway, one thing you can do is call your cable provider and just ask them on the phone.  They will definitly know a range of charges.

I don't have a bill in front of me, but we just started with them a few months ago (new house).

We had them install it in 3 rooms (drilling through the floors, cable wire, remotes, boxes, etc.) and I think you can get it 'split up' for a few months, if it's too much for you to handle all at once.

Some 6-8 years ago I had that done.  I recall there was a flat fee for the service call and then the labor for fishing the cable through the wall was pro-rated on a time basis.  I don't think it was terribly costly but this particular cable run was pretty short, and there was some unfinished space and a closet along the way, that made it a little simpler (and neatness wasn't terribly important).

Call Comcast they will tell you the price also ask for them to send you a price list I got a price list a couple of months ago with my bill .They change their prices alot
