I have stopped the update 2004 so far by doing
I have no problem at resetting another 7 days at a time. Sometimes at the beginning of the month I can go longer. I am running 1903 with no problem. Hope this helps. I get a newsletter from Cloudeight Infoave newsletter #890. Wonderful info each month. Have used this for years.

No problams after my upgrade the other day. I didn't lose my wallpaper like I did the first time it upgraded. The audio is fine. Took forever to upgrade, but it turned out be pretty good.

@SilleeMee wrote:Yes my desktop just recently had a new version of Win10 installed. Before it installed I noticed a statement on my notification that there was one coming and that I could install it then instead of waiting...so I did. There was only one issue I had and that was with a volume control setting which disappeared...but I found it later. Everything else is fine.
After the update I did a disk clean up and CCleaner run. I usually do those things right after Win10 updates.
@SilleeMee How do you do the disk clean up and CCleaner?

To do a Disk Cleanup just type that in the search box below (lower-left) and click that app. The Disk Cleanup window will open, looks like this:
I usually check all the boxes except for the ones with 'Download' in them. Then hit the Clean up system files button. Another window will open showing progress bar followed by a another window and press OK button. A final window will open asking if you want to permanently delete then hit the Delete Files button. That's it, you're done.
For CCleaner you'll need to download the app for that. It's free at CCleaner dot com from their download section.

I've been having trouble with the updates for over a year. My computer goes nuts. I finally decided to stop the automatic updates by going into settings and changing the date for the upgrade. I push the date out as far as I can and then go back in just before the date and change it to a future date. While it is a paid to do this, at least your computer doesn't encounter any problems with these upgrades.

I'm having all kinds of problems since the latest Windows Update! It's been unreal! I can't even access my File Explorer anymore which is a HUGE problem as I need it for when i record my internet classic rock show, sadly System Restore is a joke ~ for whatever reason, doesn't help at all and at first there WERE 3 different System Restore points but after the first one I tried didn't complete and failed, 2 of the points disappeared ugh ~ never seen anything like this before with an automatic update ~ I tried running System Restore in Safe Mode, that was an epic fail and didn't complete either ~ can anyone help me?
I'm getting desperate lol! I'm not a computer whiz like I maybe once was years ago and this has me totally baffled.
I did come across a story on a site that apparently after this recent update, many people had lost their File Explorer, I keep hoping Microsoft will release a patch to fix this problem!
Thanks so much for any help!! 💞💞

I do hope you have an back up of all your important files.
You may want to bring your computer back to a out of the box condition by during a complete restore.

Chromebooks use the Chrome Operating System (owned by Google) rather than Windows OS or iOS. COS is a partial (kernel) installation of Linux. You can read about CBs here:
(search google support)
Learn about Chromebooks
CBs have their own place to get apps called the Chrome Web Store where you can find the Zoom app.
