I have had McAfee on my laptop for a few years and it's going to expire in a few days. The cost to renew is crazy and I found out that Microsoft Defender is included in my microsoft 365.  Do you know if that has good protection?

I have had Microsoft Defender for years and never had an issue.  However, I'm VERY careful.  DH has the free version of Avast because he is less careful than me.  Neither of us has had any problems and haven't had a paid anitivirus in at least 10 years.  Good luck whatever you choose.

That's what we have been using for years with no problems.

My younger sister has McAffe. She has problems all the time? We told her to remove it so she can use Windows Defender.

@Nightowlz Thank you! I just may do that.  I have to see how to go about activating it when McAfee expires.
