I've been getting the following message on my computer especially when I'm on QVC.  Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it permanently?  It  comes up in a box.  I noticed one day when QVC was selling a computer the host clicked on QVC and the same thing came up.  Thanks.

Are you using IE? Under the Advanced tab of Internet Options, try unchecking the box for "Display a notification about every script error."

Re: Annoying Script

Ive been getting this on Firefox, & the browser ends up freezing.  I havent been able to correct it, so I, too, would appreciate any wisdom on this.  In the case of FF, I think it might have something to do with its interaction (or lack of) with java.

@sum1nu, For the Firefox browser, take a look at this support page:

"Warning Unresponsive script - What it means and how to fix it" at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-script.

It's likely if you'll install the addon/extension they recommend, YesScript,  (link:  https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yesscript/)  or another one which is a little more complex called "NoScript" (link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noscript/?src=search), you'll find the error goes away.

Thanks for the quick reply, doo.  I changed to allow the script to run longer, but will hold off on the addon/extension.  Im not sure if a specific website, since I am encountering the problem at work (also Firefox) also.  We'll see how this works

You're welcome, @sum1nu!  I'm not here as much as I used to be, but I just happened to be reading when you added your post.  Best of luck to you!  Usually where there's a will there's a way if all of us here put our heads together!Smiley
