An iPod addiction question--

I have become addicted to playing Scrabble on my iPod, and I'm now wondering if my battery is going bad or if it just uses a whole lot of juice to power the Scrabble game.

If I play off an on for two or three hours, or if I play five or six games in a row, I get the "recharge" message.

Is this typical? I seem to be able to use the thing forever without a charge if I'm just listening to music,
