I thought I heard Rick and the Apple rep say that IPads could not get a virus, so there is no need to purchase protection. So what if I open a link that someone has sent me? There's no way that I can get a virus? This just doesn't make sense to me, but they didn't elaborate and I'm not a tech person, so maybe I misunderstood. TIA for responses.
