I didn't get an invite but thanks to this board I went to Amazon and was able to order one! I don't think I'll get it before February 23. After the long wait I hope I like it!

I just checked and I'm able to add Echo to my cart! I never received an invite, but the "add to cart" button is there when I log in! I didn't do it yet because I have to run out, but I'm make the purchase later today (after thinking about it...)

BTW, they aren't available to everybody. When I logged into DH's account, it says he has to wait to get his invitation.

I just called my mom and she could order too.

I did double check on DH's and he can't order one. I signed him up really late though.

It's great when you get to order one! The long wait is a killer though. I feel like I've been waiting for months already and I've still got six days to go. They're really speeding up the invites now. I'll have to check and see if the invite in my mother's name came through.
