OH good! A device to spy on what is said in my house!

You have to activate it by saying it's name. It isn't on all the time. Even if it was, it wouldn't bother me. I have nothing secret to hide. I'll unplug it if I say my credit card number. LOL

I should leave all the negative posts alone so that less people will ask for an invite and then I'll have a better chance to get one! LOL

I'm thinking they are waiting a couple more days before they send out more..I thought I read that because of the Holiday they were giving people two more days to respond to the invite emails so they probably won't invite more till that time is up....Maybe....LOL...DW

I'll bet ole Jeff is laughing his sox off today. GENIUS marketing! Talk about creating demand and a buying frenzy! Simply brilliant!

Supposedly some of the first recipients have now gotten surveys in which their ownership of the Echo is called a ""six month pre-release test"" or words to that effect. That would tend to imply that if you don't get an invite soon that you'll be waiting six months for a chance to buy one.

No ""invite"" for me yet! I'm going to lose interest pretty soon and move on to something else!

Well I'm thinking I don't really want to spend money to test something for Amazon. It sounded like a fun toy but if they are testing it and charging me to do it..I'm not sure I want to do that..it could wind up like their Amazon Phone...not such a good thing...DW

Darn, this is not good news. Well...maybe it is. They will have them up and running really good by the time I can get one I guess.

Is Alexa Amazon's answer to Siri? I never use Siri except to occasionally ask her silly questions to amuse myself. Waste of money, IMO.
