Alex from HP posted on Facebook he was going to be having double jaw surgery due to an ongoing problem. He said he would be out at least 6 weeks. He posted on Facebook so we know why he is not answering our posts.

Let's say a little prayer that he heals well and comes back to QVC soon.

In my opinion he has been the best HP rep they have had in a long time. He is always excited and you can tell he loves what he does.

Thank you for posting this @MKR14.  I follow Alex on Instagram instead of FB, and he left a video there with the same type of message.  I also like Alex -- he always answers questions and responds to feedback.  Wishing him a speedy recovery.

@MKR14...thank you for letting us know.

I hope you are still loving your rose gold computer.  I am loving mine for sure.

I read on your other thread about the 3 year support from the new company.  You remember on mine, I had the lifetime support and when they changed companies they sent me an email.

I couldn't get my registration with the new company done either, so I called Customer service at QVC...1-800-367-9444.. and told them the problem I was having in switching over to the new company.  They took my info (my order number, I guess to make sure I ordered it, lol) and it took about 5 days before the company called me back.  The problem was I wasn't home when they called and they left a number for me to contact them.  But, I accidentally erased the number the new company gave me to call them.

SO......I need to call customer service at QVC again to have them reach the company to call me again.  Make any sense what I am saying?  LOL....anyway, I will try to do that later, but right now I am not having any problems and if I do, I will probably get my nephew to help me since he is a computer whiz.

I've never needed computer support anyway, little as I use it and for only basic things.  But, I suggest you call QVC customer service, if you haven't already, and the new company will get in touch with you to help you out.  It doesn't deter me keeping my rose gold computer because I love it so much.

I wanted to let you know that I will be posting on and off around here this year, but I'm going to try and take a break some from being on the forums so much.  It takes up alot of my time and I tend to let things around the home slide when I "goof" off so much, lol.  So, if you don't see me answer you right away, you will know why.  I'll post, it's just not daily or as much as I used to.  I'm trying to cut back so much on "social/computer" things and get back to the way life used to be with less electronic commuications and more face to face;....but, I hope you are well and will talk to you soon.

@shell garden Great post. I agree that my rose gold laptop stays right here. I have not had any problems and am very happy with my purchase. I also shouldn’t need Tech Support but we paid for that service so I will call Customer Service. My email and post have not been answered yet.

I agree about posting take a lot of our time. The forum is a great way to keep in touch too. If I do post I have been leaving a heart for nice or informative posts.

I bought the Fitnation Exercise Bike last week in the blue for my husband. It had to be put together but it is very nice. I used it this morning and it has zero sound to it when using it. I downloaded the app so I could work out to the videos that are free with it. My next credit card I will put the balance of my computer and bike on and I will be paid off.

I need to clean some closets out so that will get me away from watching QVC.

If I get any solution to the Tech problem I will post back.

I am doing well except some swallowing problems lately. I see the specialist on Wednesday. He is excellent and will figure it out as I see him for my pancreatitis also. I can eat ok but periodically my throat just locks up and it is a little scary.

If I am on the forum I will watch for your posts. Smiley Happy

@MKR14...it's great to hear you still love your computer and I'm glad you are keeping it.

I hope you feel better soon and your physician can find out what is wrong and correct it.  You and DH enjoy your exercise bike.  I have one too and love it.

@PEACHES1 You should never put your email on here as the Mods will delete it. I contacted Alex through Facebook. He answers questions on the HP laptops sold on QVC.

If you do not have Facebook then you need to call or email Hp regarding the problem you are having with your HP Stream.

I hope this helps and you find the answer you are looking for.

If you are getting a message about no space you probably will have to delete some of your photos etc. to give the system more space. You can move photos, documents, and other items to an external USB stick easily.
