@NickNack wrote:Thank you very much @dooBdoo . I finally figured out that the "Go" and "Go to" is at the top of the screen (like you said!) and not at the side. I was looking at the side.
I did what you said and typed in the path starting with /Library. It brought up a lot of files, but none of them looked like what I was looking for. I think I'll just give up. Since I've uninstalled Flash Player is that possibly enough to do?
@NickNack, I think I answered your questions in my previous post -- take a look first and see, and if I didn't just let me know. Take care!❤️
I did read your post @dooBdoo . I missed the bottom part at first but went back and read it. I also went to your link to the Apple page where it talks about files. I feel like I did everything correctly, but I must not have since it didn't bring up (I don't think it did) the two files I wanted to delete. I'll just wait and see what happens since I did uninstall Flash Player.
I appreciate so much you and @Mz iMac taking the time to help me.

Thanks, @NickNack! I didn't mean to imply that you overlooked it... I'm sorry if it sounded that way. I'm not very good at explaining sometimes and was worried that my posts didn't make sense. Just take your time with it when you want to investigate all those nooks and crannies. It's fine and I know of no reason those files need to be swept away posthaste and it's likely many people who perform the uninstall don't even know they're there and never even try to remove them. I don't want you to feel frustrated. You have far better things to do, especially with dear Ava and Henry, those lucky little sweethearts! Have a lovely afternoon/evening, my friend.❤️

@dooBdoo I did overlook the bottom of your post when I asked you the question about deleting the files again. I then re-read your post and saw it, but you had already answered again. 😊
Thank you so much for your help. I would never have known that I should uninstall it if I hadn't read your post in the first place. I'm glad that I did. You are excellent at explaining things.

@NickNack "Since I've uninstalled Flash Player is that possibly enough to do?"
NOPE! You must get rid of FP straggler files that Adobe mentioned.
"I did what you said and typed in the path starting with /Library. It brought up a lot of files, but none of them looked like what I was looking for."
You must click on the Preferences folder. See my previous instructions starting with "Select & click on the Preferences folder" and go from there.
