Adobe Flash and Android Tablets?

I've read and heard that Android tablets, and the Kindle Fire HD and Nook HD+ no longer support Flash. How do you get around this problem? Also, is there an app or browser that supports HTML5. I understand that they are converting to HTML5. Thanks for your help.
