I'll tell you what's uncool about AOL.  Ever have a problem and have to talk to one of their techs in India?  First, you understand only about every 5th word they say.  Tell them your problem....eventually it'll occur to you that your tech doesn't know what he or she is doing.  After an hour or so, the tech reaches the same conclusion so he just hangs up on you.  Then you get to start all over again.  I've done this repeatedly over 3 hrs in an evening.

I had an account, could sign on with my password.  There was nothing they could do, however, that would allow me to get my email.  I called over and over but they couldn't fix it.  I gave up and never looked back.

Yes, it's a great service.

In that respect I have to agree with you.  It is a nightmare to talk to a Representative.  I can't remember how many times I hung up after spending a great deal of time getting nowhere talking to someone I couldn't understand and maybe they didn't understand me either.  A nightmare in the making and why AOL continues that practice I will never understand.  Okay, saving money?

Hi @lizzys

If you go to AOL's Options, General, Inbox Style, and switch to Unified Inbox, you can get back the sorting option.

I haven't done that yet.  What it does it place new mail and old mail together.

I also have AOL, since 1990.  I never knew I could bundle my old mail with the new mail.  However, I don't see why that is a good thing.  Lots of times I go into my old mail to pull up something I need to see.  Periodically I go through my old mail and delete things, same with drafts and saved mail.   There have been times I thought of changing but I don't want the hassle of learning something new and I happen to like my AOL.
