I bought a lg ,from hsn several months ago, because of battery troubles with my existing tracfone, i called tracfone for help, only got recording, gave serial number of new phone to recording, what else do i do ,how to get names ,and apps on new phone , so far all new phone is doing ,is charging. I am lost on this totally.HELP PLEASE.

If the booklet that came with your phone does not help walk you through, you can find a tutorial that walks you through every step on the phone itself.

If you post the LG. Model number I will find a tutorial for you.

I've bought all my TracFones from HSN and they've all come with easy to follow directions. Took me just a couple of minutes to activate the phone. Did you not receive any directions in the box with your phone? There should be directions on the Tracfone website also. I used an app called "transfer wizard" to transfer everything to the new phone.

The model number would be on your receipt on HSN slip or online under the phone you bought.

Got it done ,could not do the transfer wizard, hoping i did it all right.

Some is not right,no connection at all.

If it is a wi-fi connection then you have to put in your wi-fi and password to activate that.

If it is a phone connection not working then try shutting off and turning back on. If that doesn’t work-shut the phone off-then take the battery out for about 20 seconds and then put back in. Make sure the battery is back in securely. Be careful and make sure the battery is put back in correctly.

Some newer Tracfones do not have a way to take the battery out and you may have to call Tracfone to find the problem.

The first two things they always have told me is to shut the phone off and turn back on. Then taking the battery in and out is next. MAKE sure the phone is off when doing the battery.

Always shut your phone off and back on once a week if you leave it on all the time. It helps clear out problems usually. I have told many of my friends that and it has always worked.
