  1. Key Features of 6G Towers

    Radar Functionality

    • Traffic Monitoring: 6G towers will be equipped to track vehicular traffic, enhancing urban mobility management.
    • Drone Surveillance: The technology will enable the monitoring of drone activities, improving airspace safety.
    • Object Detection: Towers will function similarly to radar systems, allowing for the detection of various objects in their vicinity.

    Benefits of 6G Implementation

    • Enhanced Connectivity: The integration of radar-like capabilities will improve overall network performance and reliability.
    • Urban Safety: By monitoring traffic and drones, 6G technology aims to create safer urban environments.
    • Data-Driven Insights: The real-time data collected will support smarter city planning and emergency response strategies.

    Privacy Concerns

Implementing radar-like 6G towers in urban areas could lead to significant privacy issues. The technology is capable of detecting movement and presence without capturing images, which raises questions about how this data might be used.

Key Privacy Issues

  • Surveillance Potential: Continuous monitoring of individuals and vehicles could lead to unauthorized surveillance.
  • Data Misuse: There is a risk that the data collected could be misused by various entities, including governments and corporations.

Cybersecurity Risks

The advanced capabilities of 6G networks also introduce new cybersecurity challenges. The extensive coverage and high-resolution sensing features can create vulnerabilities that need to be addressed.

My 4G phone cannot install simple apps such as the Verizon Mobile App (I'm ta customer) and one would have to ask what will this mean for 5G phones after 6G towers are implemented.

How will 6G affect birds and insects?  I think this basically has been ignored. Scientists have said the reduction of flying insects is from pesticides and to a lessor degree EMFs.

If I buy a new expensive 5G phone I'll still be behind the curve.

Improvements in technology have been impressive and, to a point, helpful, but sooner or later things always go too far and what was designed to simplify life merely complicates it, becomes unreliable and dehumanizing, and ultimately implodes...

I wonder how many more new data centers it will take to service this "necessity"?

Wonder if my 4G flip phone will last 4 more years? 😁

Societies evolve, civilizations move forward, technological advances continue.  Who among us would go back to the days before the internet and cell phones?  To the days before all the advances in medicine?

I certainly wouldn't.

I wouldn't either, at least not when 'advances' simplify life rather than complicate it and when they work as they should without glitches left to us to clean up, usually without being able to easily communicate with the source ... Evolve rather than devolve is a critical and key distinction...

I saw this recently, as it showed how they could see through walls like a thermal image.  Spying on citizens in their homes.  What could possibly go wrong with that?
