Just like Candace's line favors the smaller woman, D&C absolutely is now almost totally for the old and heavy woman. Look at the tops. Is there anything besides a fit and flare, or way long tunics? And the prints. Those huge florals remind me of my Aunt and Mom, many years ago.
I'm an older Senior and love Candace's line. There's nothing I've seen on D&C that is to my liking.
There's something for everyone, but Gary's could be a tad more inclusive and a little more innovative.
Gary goes off with his Southwestern line now. What for? It all looks the same.
Candace, Isaac seem to be my go to's these days. And what a disappointment is J Jason Wu. He doesn't bring a collection, just shows up occassionally with something uninteresting. The Q got nothing but a name.

@Just Bling - based on the posters in these forumns, there is a very large old biddy club that loves this stuff.

In my opinion D&C is geared toward the plus size ladies, which is fine. I am a "senior" and I have no interest in this clothing line or its style. Reminds me of Karen Scott sold at Macy's. I like Talbots and INC sold at Macy's. My grandkids call me a hip GG.

What is this recent obsession with people saying QVC has clothing for older, frumpy, old, senior, aged, dowdy, OLDER OLD SENIOR women? What are older non-fashionable women supposed to do? Die? Go Nekked? Dress like Hollywood?
Get over it. If you walk the red carpet, are fashion forward and youthful (possibly mutton dressed as lamb yourself and won't admit to it) don't shop here.
If you spend your day going to the post office, grocery store and picking up some new plants for the garden, you will be fine with most of what QVC offers--style wise. But please stop pounding older women.
If you are lucky you too will be old some day. And possibly then mutton dressed as lamb at the rate some of you are going.

Well. I'm a size XS or XXS, or 2 (petites since I'm 5'2") in D&Co, and I can find things sutable and cute. I started out a medium in their clothes, but after two breast cancer surgeries, and dieting to control my blood sugar, I had to replace most of my wardrobe. I think they have a decent range for all sizes and that includes smaller women and larger women. I also have several Kim Gravel, WWC, and one item each of Graver and Isaac. In the "stores with a door," I tend to wear Old Navy, Levi's, Skechers. Hardly "old lady clothes." And I tend to get compliments at the office, where we wear dress casual. I think they do a good job of styling for everyone. You just have to watch and pick out things that suti you. Not every thing in every show is for everyone.
I actually think that Quacker Factory and Joan Rivers are targeted more toward older shoppers.
That said, you would NEVER catch me in LOGO. LOL.

I agree. Some of the prints are very over the top. I am wondering what happened to all the basic Denim and Co Essentials in solids? I check all of the time and they don't seem to be coming back in stock. FYI, I am an old lady!!

And I also feel D&C target the plus sizes. Most of their models for print work or "in action" are plus size models on every item. She is beautiful but does not represent my small frame and therefore I can see how the items would look like on me.

Watching Gary and Jayne this morning.
Outside of a few pieces I wondered why the line seems daudy.
The line seems to be playing safe. Nothing stands out.
I will be 65 in October but I'm not ready for elastic waist pants and shirts
looking boxy.
Denim & Co has a lot of potential but yes they seem to design safe with sales .
