Hey @Kachina624   did you see this new fleece jacket

The antique rose is pretty and if the garment measurements are right, the sleeves are really long for folding back aka good for me, lol.

@Bird mama. No, I haven't seen it.  Must be brand new today.  I have 5 or 6 similar Bob Mackie jackets and didn't wear them once last year.  I'm going to wash them all and donate.  Selfish to keep them while others are cold.

They're beautifully embroidered and very warm.

Thanks for the heads up.

Re: New Fleece Jacket

[ Edited ]

It’s cute, but I’d look like I’m wearing a pony blanket in that print. But it’s so wintry cozy, I’m very attracted to it. (Love the blue)  Sadly,  I’m not fond of hi-lo hem lines. Also, it should ideally have a two-way zipper for ease sitting in cars or anywhere.

I don’t understand where the garment description  includes “thumbholes”. Is that to put my thumbs thru those extra long sleeves? 35” sleeves are super long. Why roll them up when the jacket could just have sleeves that would be the right length or close to it for most women? I would feel like a kindergartner rolling up the sleeves until I get older and it fits!

I’ve bought many of those fleece jackets from QVC over the years. They make one with new styling every year and they are a good value. They’re very comfortable, wash well, and look good. This one I’m going to pass on. No sale, but the colors are lovely.

Whoa @gizmogal   thanks for mentioning the thumb holes.  I was so taken with the pattern that I missed that little detail.  I'm out... I don't do garments with thumb holes.

I wonder why you'd need thumb holes in an outter layer jacket?  They usually serve to keep sleeves from riding up when you put a garment over them.

The thumb holes are to keep warm without wearing gloves.  I don't think it would detract from till my them up.  I like the teal.
