There's a new Designer vs  Diva poll listed with the blogs.   There are the cutest pictures of Carolyn and Gary,  really darling.   Carolyn always looks so much thinner in a photo than she does on my flat screen TV which doesn't have HD service.   It make everything look large and wide.  She is a very pretty lady.

They are cute pictures.

I'm always surprised by how much worse things look on my non-HD channels.

My parents bought an expensive HD TV and I cannot for the life of me get them to watch the actual HD channels they pay for with their cable service. Dad will forever and ever turn on Channel 5 for CBS, period. Channel 705, CBS in HD, does not exist in his world. I even pointed out that when he does put the TV on channel 5, a message pops up that tells him to press Enter to watch it HD, but he doesn't want to read messages or press buttons.

Our TV defaults to the HD channel.  Maybe you could check his set-up, @ChynnaBlue.

I would probably like the fabric on the first one but I'm not wowed by either style.  

Carolyn is definitely a good host, as well as pretty.

So could you please explain to me how to find this. Computers are not my specialty. I grew up with a wall mounted crank telephone (and lots of party line members).

@susan in California  I like it too.   It looks like the antique rose + brown.  She just may talk me into it,  although I'm not sure what it would do to my hips.

I could, but if he doesn't actually see any difference between the HD channels and the regular channels *he says he cannot) and is happy, I'm not going to alter his system to my preferences. He watches it every day and I watch it 2 weeks out of the year.
