I don't use facebbok so don't know how else to reach you. I love the idea behind the Co. But honestly really and truly you do not have to put spandex in everything and you do not have to put so much when you do! 4 and 5% is too much. I wear breathable fabrics only. When you offer an item, lets say those jogger pants on today. Almost all cotton. Why ruin it with the spandex? Jogger pants made of cotton do not need spandex. As you should certainly know, cotton is naturally stretchy. And as you also should know, a lot of cotton does not wrinkle, or will smooth out after drying. Especially something like jogger pants. All the good old Hanes from the old days before they went 50% polyester did not wrinkle. They really didn't.

Also those Henley t-shirts...the 2 for 1. Was going to buy untill I saw 5% Spandex! Honestly, all the Eddie Bauer, LL Bean and Lands End cotton tshirts I have bought over 30 odd years did not wrinkle and they stretch with the body just fine without Spandex. Of course they too are now starting to add Spandex fools that they are. But I'm talking about their past products.

Is QVC making you do it? Just like I suspect they make the designers design almost everything too long. That's another issue but I'll stop here.

I agree and one of many reasons I buy very little clothing anymore from QVC. I HATE spandex as it doesn't breathe.QVC won't change so I shop elsewehere.

@Whosits

Unfortunately the hosts and vendors are not allowed to participate on the forums, So Gary won't see this post here.

Maybe someone you know has FB and can post this on his FB page for you.

@Whosits My understanding is, and I could be wrong, that Gary does *not* read the messages on this forum.

I do know that hosts and vendors are not allowed to post here.

I really doubt that QVC tells him how much spandex to use! That just makes no sense.

And designers make things long because people are buying them. QVC I doubt dictates to the designers. I really don't know what makes you think that.

It also clings horribly. I have to size up because the tops cling so much.

Not that I buy that much from QVC but I do not like all cotton.   To me all cotton loses it's shape.  4 or 5% spandex works for me.  A cotton/poly/span blend is my favorite.

I’m just the opposite - I like having a bit of spandex in my shirts.   I haven’t had good luck with all cotton - it seems to shrink or stretch out of shape for me.

I think at least 5% spandex is great! I think it improves just about all fabrics. It is a great technology that I think is unfortunate that it was not in clothes earlier in my life.

I'm for Team Spandex.  Jogger or other style pants without some spandex results in baggy knees, sagging bum.

I think there's nothing hotter than a substantial, not paper thin, 100% cotton tee shirt, even with short sleeves.  They also stretch and grow as the day progresses until they are shapeless.  Must be laundered after each wearing just to get them to return to original size.  No thanks, give me some Spandex.
