Re: why does it take 9 days to begin shipment

[ Edited ]

IMO, It CERTAINLY IS QVC's fault!!!!!

They do not and have not considered shipping a priority in quite a long time.If they did they would hire another delivery company or pay the companies they have now more $$

It started way back when we all complained about the high cost of shipping a few yrs ago ,so they lowered the shipping cost, but then charged shipping  for EVERY ITEM in your order.

Remember that???

IMO,That is why they LOCK your order up so fast you can't cancel it!

Bad Company!!   (now al you QVC~kissers , make sure you tell me I don't have to shop here) ..lol

@MalteseMomma   I have to say that you yourself have posted many many times that you will not ever shop here again. But here you are with the same complaints. There are many other places to shop with no hassles.

Re: why does it take 9 days to begin shipment

QVC has to share blame for shipping problems.....

They also know how bogged down all the shipping companies are and yet they were/are saying GUARANTEED TO ARRIVE BEFORE CHRITMAS....

My Muk Luks jammies GUARANTEED to arrive by Christmas when I ordered them last week have been given an arrival day by UPS as 12/29!!

They are for me...so I am not worried......but I don't think it was wise to GUARANTEE any thing given the current situation...

Re: why does it take 9 days to begin shipment

I ordered Carmindy Mascara on 12/11 and it was shipped on 12/15 from Middletown, NY to Windsor, Ct. on 12/17. It is still sitting at this site. I live in Colorado. I contacted Customer Service today and was told it is in transit. This doesn't make sense. Maybe I will get it before the first of the year. Routing is very strange and I know the situation but it is questionable.

Re: why does it take 9 days to begin shipment

I ordered something on 12/11, paid for express shipment with a 12/16 delivery date. Today is 12/19 and it's still in process. I have no hope for a Christmas delivery at this point. Why does this continue to happen at QVC??? They were like this last year before COVID so they can't use that as an excuse. Very frustrating, no sense emailing customer service, all I get is the generic we are sorry excuse, blah blah blah.

Mint

That is exactly right HSN gets orders out quick I have never had any problems, but QVC was slow before Covid !!!!!!!!

@sann. @Mint2.  Do you realize that in most cases merchandise comes from consolidated QVC/HSN warehouses?

@elated.  Surely you must realize QVC has nothing to do with the routing?  CS has absolutely no way of knowing where your package is.  They see the same thing you do.

It makes me wonder how QVC can quarantee Christmas delivery and get the item to me (ordered on Dec 18th) today the 22nd all the way by UPS.

Customers who have paid extra for delivery are still waiting.

By the way, those who ordered on the 18th for Guaranteed Christmas delivery the EDD says the 29th. That's done automatically. There is still hope for the Christmas delivery.

For me, this was just an "I dare you QVC" and QVC delivered.

Re: why does it take 9 days to begin shipment

I hve ordered from HSN, BBW, and others after my current QVC order, like a week after and have already received them, but not the QVC one. One still stuck in NC.  Realize they had a bombing there, but ordered way before bombing.  One is finally 10 miles from my home.  The other pkg. all in and given out already.  They must use cheap shipping, but charges are not cheap or maybe it's the free shipping.

HSN, gives you hours to cancel, but if you don't the pkg. is sent the next day, not in pending forever.
