[Hoping for the best]

I put something in my cart that is waitlisted... click "yes" for waitlist and go to check out .....then the article of clothing says it is sold out upon checkout.  This has never happened before.  Please fix this.. Is happening all the time now.

I did have this happen and I tried again and it worked so you may want to try again.  Seems the computer needs to catch up sometimes.

@Hoping for the best.  I've had that happen numerous times.  The computer just hasnt caught up with orders being placed.

@Hoping for the best Check out the post links that @spumoni99 stated. That may help.

QVC has followed suit with what almost every other retailer does. If the item sells out before you purchase it, well, snooze you loose I guess you could say. They don't let you "reserve" items for an hour any longer. But in all fairness, there isn't one retailer I shop at that will hold my items for me while I continue to shop. 

As for waitlist, I have had your situation happen several times throughout the years I've shopped. It's pretty rare but it does happen. You put something on waitlist but there is somebody just one click ahead of you that also put it on waitlist and then supplies ran out. So, unfortunately, the item is no longer available.

Don't give up, keep checking it. My husband wanted something last Sunday and it sold out while I was trying to order it, never even offered a waitlist. So I checked it each day, finally on Saturday it was available so I ordered it.
