I have two orders in the same situation, both of which should have arrived in plenty of time for a Christmas.  Now I am worried.  Both were shipped via UPS surepost or Mail Innovations, etc.  One transferred to post office on 12/14 and another on 12/16.  There they sit with no means to track them because the tracking number provided is a UPS number not a USPS number.  One item had an EDD of 12/14.  We are well past that.

I have learned my lesson.  If QVC insists on using this inferior and unreliable shipping method, I will be shopping elsewhere.

I have been a QVC customer since the beginning and spend alot alot of money throughout the year, thosands  of dollars, and can say   I am done.  I ordered (4) items on December 10, (9) days ago,  the early offered Bose ear buds that was a TSV yesterday, (incidently offered to be delivered by Xmas, I could have ordered it yesterday and received it by tomorrow), Kringle Express gift bags, Glo Pro, and Magamount.  It said  processing for (4) days, each with an EDD of December 18, that was yesterday.  On December 14, Friday, ALL OF THE ABOVE ITEMS WERE SHIPPED UPS TOGETHER IN ONE BOX FROM ONTARIO CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW I've had items shipped from Ontario California, I live in southern Florida, and it takes forever, pony express by truck.  Now I am panicking because all of these are xmas presents except the xmas wrap.  I called QVC customer service (3) times when I saw it was shipped from California and (2) cs had no explanation, and the laughable (3rd) customer rep said because of the fire in California things are late. Well, duh, you don't ship things from California if that is the case which it wasn't because I received something by UPS 2nd day from California and I  got it on time.  I than called back another (2) times to speak to a supervisor.  Held for thirty minutes each time finally told I gave my phone number to get a call back and didn't.  Well, the items shipped UPS last Friday, don't travel on the weekend, and here it is Wednesday dec 19 and according to the UPS site, it won't be here until Saturday 12 days after I placed the order.  UNACCEPTABLE, I told cs I am leaving today for xmas without the xmas presents and will have to now go to the mall at the last minute.  THANKS QVC, improve your shipping methods and the people in the shipping department as well as CS, and that goes for the supervisors.  Shame on you for shipping all these items together from Cali, to south florida by pony express.  NEVER NEVER NEVER, you lost a good customer.  Instead of paying out of your wealthy pockets for better shipping for customers, you pay rock bottom.  QVC needs revamped, they lost me as a customer.  Still no satisfaction. all items will be mailed back and no shipping chargers to me, as a matter of fact, they should send me a gift card for the hassles I have been through

Maybe if everyone would write a nice, respectful letter to the US Postmaster with the complaints he would look into the problems.

Couldnt hurt.

@de1rdre  It's not only QVC.  I had the same issue with Amazon.  An item was supposed to be delivered on the 10th.  It didn't.  I called Amazon, they called the USPS and told me delivery would be on the 14th.  No delivery.  Called Amazon again on the 17th.  Told me because it wasn't delivered on the date stated, they were refunding me the cost of the items.  Would QVC do that????

BTW I also told Amazon that as a long time customer I was not happy they were using the post office and if that was their SOP now, I would not be ordering.  The very polite cs person said he would pass my comments on to the management.

@Imaoldhippie.  Why would the USPS have anything to do with what goes on in a QVC warehouse or at UPS?

When anyone ships UPS and then it is sent to USPS for delivery.  That is what most complaints seem to be about.
