I recently had this happen twice to me. When I called C.S. they couldn't figure out why, and there was nothing that needed to be updated with my credit card.
I suspected the item, in its color, was overextended and they wouldn't put it into the "preparing your order" status.
The other was an item that was sold out soon after I supposedly nabbed it.
I received the "thank you for your order message" and then soon after, "the contact customer service" message.
Same thing, couldn't figure out what happened.
Within a day or 2 I got the confirmation that it was being sent out.
It was Savannah Candy Company mini fruit pies. I wish the order would have stayed in limbo because they were not good!

I've had that message appear a few times over the years. When I've called customer service they didn't know why either and suspected it was (another!) glitch in the system. I got my orders as usual. But it is best to call and check.
Trying to call any customer service on a Monday morning is almost impossible to get through. I'd wait until later this afternoon, or better yet tomorrow or the next day.

@goldensrbest I would email QVCsocialteam@qvc.com and give them the order #. They should get back to you in a short time. I wouldn't wait on line.

None of us here can answer that question and neither can CS.
It happened to me a couple times. Wouldn't waste the effort calling or contacting the mods, they do not know.
They never saw any reason why.
Usually w/in a day or so, the order just went through.
Happened just this Sat. By today, it went through.

That happened to me about a week ago - I read here that it had happened to others and the next day it said processing - and mine did too. So I'd just wait a day or two and if not being processed then call CS.
