why so much confusion on PAYPAL?   make it customer user friendly as it is on every other site!

Maybe because Q wants you to use their credit

@spot555

It is not the usual Paypal, it is PayPal Credit, or Bill me later.

It does not work the same as PayPal, I use my PayPal in in situations where I would rather not use a bank card.

I wish more companies took it

I tried using it once, & I don't understand this Paypal method. All I know is that it's not the same way Paypal normally works.

@avid shopper.   PayPal Credit is not the same as the PayPal you use on other sites.  I accidentally signed up for it and when I discovered it's more like a credit card, I canceled the account.  It seems like you make payments and interest is charged on your unpaid balance.

Wasn't aware QVC offered PayPal. Sounds like QVC isn't interested in having customers use that method of payment. Perhaps QVC isn't interested in utilizing it often? Remember it costs QVC to use PayPal. They would prefer you use the QCard or your credit card. It is interesting that none of the hosts mention PayPal as an option.

It costs QVC when you use a credit card, too.   Of course, I'm sure they pass that cost along to the customer.

just a FYI......yes, it is a line of credit, BUT you dont HAVE to make payments or pay interest. you can immediately pay off the "charge" by moving your money from paypal to paypal credit......via your paypal homepage.

@sunshine45  I believe you are totally correct.  But, that is just one more step I wouldn’t have to take if the Q would allow it to go directly to the bank account I have already set up for PAyPal the way other vendors do. 👛

The way my Paypal account is set up, it’s all one. When a purchase goes to my Paypal page, I have the choice, right at purchase, to use Paypal Credit OR any credit cards I’ve put on Paypal, OR my bank account. I have the choice of which to use.

@MoonchildeThat is how my accout is set up.  I have many options.  When trying to use QVC's version of paypal, it is like you are applying for PayPal.  It is nothing like using it at other places.  I don't have any issues using it with the other shopping channels.  You chose PayPal and bam it takes you to your account.

I have a Paypal account but not a Paypal credit account nor do I want one.

HSN accepts regular Paypal which I use often when shopping with them.

mine is set up that way also, but NOT when paying on qvc......it just goes right to my paypal credit account. qvc does not accept paypal, but does accept paypal credit.
