How do you quote only one of the previous quotes?  I didn't know that was an option.  I use a Samsung android tablet if that matters.

@kze,

To quote only one of the previous posts you go to the post you want to quote and click reply, then click on "quote" (located right up above on the right side of the blank reply ) Now, that post will appear in your reply.

Then you post what you want to say under the quote. You can either notify the person with an @and their name dropping down or not notify them.

You probably know that part though.

"If you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew. Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? can you paint with all the colors of the wind?"

I meant how to pick out just just the last reply in a post with multiple replies.  I know if you want to quote just the original post you would go back to the beginning before anyone replied and quote it.  But what to do once others start replying?  Sure hope this makes sense.  🙂

Oh, I see what you mean. I guess the only way is to copy and paste and put that one in your reply?

@kze - Actually, you can simply delete parts of the longer post after you have clicked the "Quote" button—you can totally edit that block as desired. For example, you'll often see people adding bold font to certain phrases or sentences to indicate specific points they're replying or adding to. If you edit, it's best to delete a poster's name and their whole post from the chain rather than trying to keep pieces here and there without full context; this will help with readability as the chain continues and will keep the integrity of what has been posted. (If it starts to get too complicated with the editing, you can certainly copy and paste previous comments—perhaps use italics or a different font color to make it clear that is what you're doing.)

@kze - Here's an example of my previous post; I selected the username and post that was prior to yours and then applied the strikethrough feature to show what I could have omitted by clicking "Delete" instead. Hope that helps!

@kze  - As I did here, just delete the earlier parts of the conversation.  No need to copy and paste.
