What's with the shipping?!

I don't know what's going on with QVC's shipping but orders are taking longer and longer and longer to reach me. I see that QVC is doing more shipping with the postal service and that could well be the problem. I shop online because it is convenient and generally pretty prompt, but the slowness of QVC's shipping is making me turn more and more to other sources for items I can find elsewhere. Anyone else notice the long lag times in receiving shipments?

Are you sure it's the shipping, or is it "processing?" I've had an order still "in process" since December 28, and few orders I've placed since then have gotten beyond the processing stage. What the heck, QVC?

I think timing depends upon what we order and/or where we live. With one exception all my pre-Christmas orders have been faster than usual - 3 to 4 days after ordering.

I did order a cleartance item afterwards that seems to be on target for a 5-day delivery time - that includes 3 days of in process!

One oyher thought - Amazon seems to have a special deal with the USPS. Could they be dominating the Post Office and slowing down deliveries from other companies?

There was a time when there was lots of talk about Walmart opening stores even where they really didn't need them for any reason except to interfere with other businesses. Wonder if Amazon is now trying to do that to other online businesses?

I ordered two items from Barefoot dreams dot com.

UPS processed label on December 28, 5 days ago, still not shipped.

Guess the Q isn't alone with processing orders that take forever to ship.

Sorry but not a new problem. I've had shipping problem for several months. Even had three lost items. And unfortunately all 3 were sold out. So OUT OF LUCK for me.

It does take a long time for delivery, but the Processing time is taking a longer time for me recently. In fact, I ordered something on Dec 30th, and a couple hours later decided to cancel the order. I wasn't able to, but it said that my order was already prepared to ship. Well, it still hasn't shipped, so not sure why my order couldn't be cancelled....
