I just checked the status of an item that has already been shipped to me and it says this. Does anyone know what it means?

I think it means they don't have enough stock. That happened on the Beekman TSV from the spring--the last shipment says "backordered' now--I doubt I will receive it.

It could mean, "We put it on the wrong truck and it went to Kalamazoo".

I have received several of these messages regarding my orders. I ordered two sets of the TSV Muk Luk socks on 10/16...then there was no tracking. Then received a delay message - on advance order. When I ordered, there were still plenty in stock!! Just yesterday - 11/5 - received one order, but still lacking the 2nd one!!
I do think it is poor customer service!! I realize that there are delivery issues due to the virus, but...QVC plan ahead!! Retail has been dealing with the virus issues since March!! Don't sell something you don't already have in hand!!

Funny enough, but not really...I just received a box from QVC that was not my order!!
In fact, purchaser's address is not even in my city!!! I did not open box - put the return label on and gave to postman!!! Yikes!!

@corita. In my 30+ years with QVC I've gotten several of those surprise packages. You'd think they'd figure out how it happens and fix it, wouldn't you?

It means that you paid for it, it said it was shipped but after that we lost track of it, nobody knows where it is or if it really shipped.
Are you gonna want a refund????
