Website Search Issues

When I do a search on the website, then click on an item to get details, then back out to return to my search, it does not work.  It throws you to the bottom of the site and your search is gone.  Then you have to start your search again as if it's a brand new search.  This has been happening for at least a year.  Seems to happen intermittanly.   Sometimes the search works properly and other times it doesn't.  It's very frustrating so once it starts happening, I leave the site and shop with another merchant.  Anyone else have this problem?
