Has anyone had this happen?  I was on waitlist for the TSV Bethlehem Lights Candles and was so excited yesterday when I saw that they were 'In Process'.  Several hours later I checked my email and I had received a waitlist cancellation notice.  I was so disappointed.

I will call customer service, but wanted to check in to see if this was a common practice nowadays.  I've had many waitlist cancellations over the years but never after the order appeared to be 'In Process'.  Thanks. 🙂

@Northern Belle 2  Welcome! Over the years, I have never had one of my "Waitlist" items ever filled; always canceled. Maybe others have had better luck, but hasn't happened to me.

Yes.  I had ordered 2 sets of the Jockey TSV.  One set was delivered but the next kept getting pushed back/ in process.  After a very long time, I contacted CS to say "just cancel it."  It's been too long, it's not coming.  They said they would and the next thing I know it shipped less than a week after that.

@Northern Belle 2.  I've had many waitlist and backorder orders filled over the years but now things can be very uncertain with manufacturers world-wide.  They project that they will be able to fulfill a contract then plants are struck by the virus and they can't get items made or can't get raw materials.  People get quite upset because their orders aren't filled without ever considering the possible reasons.  The whole supply chain and transportation systems have been affected by covi19.

Thanks, everyone.  My first guess was that the cancellation was COVID-related, and that's probably the reason.  After I posted this note, I had two more waitlists cancelled, the Malden Mills sheet sets.

Over the years, I have been really lucky with waitlists, with very few cancellations.  I got almost everything I've ever waitlisted for.  I guess I shouldn't rely on them at least for awhile, until our economy gets back to normal.
