I placed an order for a MacBook Air, was charged the initial $277, received an email saying that my order was confirmed and all was well. I then received an email saying that I needed to call customer service and verify information for my order to ship. I did. After HOURS on hold, numerous messages left I have still yet to speak to a human being to resolve this issue. Is this the norm with QVC? At a loss here.

Try sending info including order number to QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com

Re: Verification

@MCarter - I am sorry for your frustration. As suggested above, try emailing the social team to see if they can help. Based on your being new to the forums, it seems like this may be your first or one of your first big-ticket purchases at QVC. If that is the case, as a standard practice, additional verification steps are often required to ensure that the transaction will be completed, especially if you choose Easy Pay.

One other thing to keep in mind is that customer service staffing is often lower on the weekends than during the week, so perhaps you'll have better luck calling if you try again tomorrow. I hope everything works out for you!

P.S. The charge you see for the first payment will not actually be formally assessed against your card/account until your item is shipped. It is a hold that applies to all QVC customers, old and new, while an order is being prepared. So if something doesn't work out and your item does not actually ship, that hold should disappear within 48-72 hours, based on your bank or card provider.
