Using post office as a shipment method

When you send a package UPS I feel the package needs to stay with the UPS system and be delivered to my house. I am not a fan of it being sent ups and then UPS send it to the post office where it sits for an extra two to three days before I get it to my house. I have a package that went out through the post office it's been 9 days and now I see a message where it was sent to the wrong post office and it has to be directed again. Please please please QVC just use ups and keep the postal service out of your delivery options

@sassy pants   Speak for yourself; I get much faster, more accurate service from the USPS.  UPS has become a comedy of errors and delays,

Interesting you should mention your package going to the wrong PO....that is exactly what has happened to me with my most recent purchase.  It came to my local PO then was sent off to the next state 3 days ago.  It says it has been redirected to the correct PO, but nothing since then and no package.  It's so irrtating!  I've never had a problem before, a slight delay once in awhile, but this is ridiculous.

I prefer that there is no handoffs.  Send it either all USPS or all UPS.  All the errors that happen to me is when they hand off the packages.. UPS to USPS.  You can only imagine my stories.  Too many things in the mix and one blames the other for the mixup or loss or whatever.

I have a package that has been sitting at a post office about an hour away from me for several days.   I put in a request to investigate missing mail at the usps website today. Hope it helps to get  it moving again.

I completely agree!  HATE the pass-off system.  Get rid of it!

Especially hard on breakables that aren't packed very good anymore.....

So many people are receiving broken items from Valerie that the mod on my Facebook page for fans of Valere is not allowing anymore negative comments......

YES.  The pass-off system is a total fail for me.  I hate when I see my package get transfer from UPS to USPS.

The real problem with this mess is that QVC uses mail innovations a 3rd party carrier. That is when mine don't move. You can upgrade yourself it it's ups to usps.I have ups my choice & unless it's a lightweight package, like a blouse, I have been able to upgrade to UPS home delivery. Between poor delivery & returns taking 4 to 6 weeks I stopped ordering. So many have complained but QVC does nothing to fix their broken system. Just waiting for my return to show.

Re: Using post office as a shipment method

QVC has no choice in this.

UPS has partnered with the USPS to deliver packages.  They did this to save money.  It wasn't cost effective for UPS to drive 30 miles into a rural area to deliver one package, when the USPS delivers there everyday.

For some of us, this works well.  For others, not so well.
