Re: To moderators/tech crew-Is anything ever going to be done about the jumping on the website?

@Beth-QVC~

Beth ,

Thank you for responding. These requests have been forwarded before with no response or answer back so I hope they do answer this time.

If they say it can't be fixed, I'll just be satisfied that that is the answer and have to be aware that thats how its going to be rather than hoping or wondering if someone is still trying to fix it.

Anyway, I appreciate your quick response.

I hate those bars loading at the top of my screen, too. If I try to click on the x to not get the Qvc app, it still loads all pages! I got one of the surveys on shopping here less and wrote that as why. I put up with it in the forums, but I wait for the shows on TV most for my shopping here. Using wish list helps, because the pages jump so much, I click on the wrong item, it's frustrating and not worth it. Other sites don't do this.

Re: To moderators/tech crew-Is anything ever going to be done about the jumping on the website?

My best guess is that the page loading for the various ad banners and blurbs is not fixable. Those horizontal ad banners and QVC blurbs at the top of the page likely reside on a server separate from their main QVC page and so they load at different rates and likely load last or next to last on a page. The only way to fix it is to do away completely with the horizontal ad banners and the horizontal QVC blurbs.

@TY~

That is a plausable explanation and thank you!

I wish the moderators would be kind enough to give one as well, even if it is just to say, yes it is not fixable due to whatever!

@Beth-QVC@Eva-QVC~

Hi-

This is what keeps happening-there is no response or reply. I guess it won't be fixed.

So I give up on this topic anyway.

Still it would have been nice to get an acknowledgement that yes, it can't be fixed.

I guess I always expect when someone says they will get back to you, they actually will.

Naiive to the end I guess.

It is terrible - I think the jumping screens will remain a downfall of boards that are otherwise laid out quite well.

The moderators are not the IT people. They can't provide "answers" they haven't received. And if IT is basically yawning each time they ask about this and shining them on, the moderators can't exactly say that, now can they?
