I am so frustrated with QVC! I have called a total of 10 times & they called me back once, so that is 11 times that I have spoken to Q about the fact that I used a $100 gift card to pay for a Fitbit watch back on July 3rd. I changed my mind & tried to cancel the item, it was too late, it was "being processed", I had to wait for the item to arrive & send it back. It took up $98 of my gift card. I NEVER opened it!!!! I only opened the box to take the packing slip out!! I NEVER took the watch out of the box! I used their label & I sent it back. They acknowledge the fact that they have recieve the item back, but they still can't put the money back in my account. They say that it is tied up in accounting & we or they are not allowed to call accounting, they say their hands are tied. When the supervisor called me, she said that Q had made a mistake & she would re-submit the order to accounting. Well, guess what? They never gave me the money back. Now they are at a loss as what to do about this. Today they told me to call the number for disputed claims. The woman there told me that she couldn't help me because the claim is not disputed, she just doesn't understand why they have not put the money in my account. They are not disputing that they owe me. I guess this is what it has taken for me to cut ties with QVC after 30 yrs. I will pay what I owe them & they have lost a very good customer. Guess they just plain don't care!

You are not alone....outside of QVC there are many well known companies who have outsourced their accounting and credit card functions to banks like Synchrony and Comenity. These banks do not listen to customers who have unusual situations and just want to keep applying late charges esp when merchandise has been paid in full.
Department stores like Boscov, Talbots as well as service organizations like AAA are using Comenity. SteinMart used Synchrony. If the originating store customer service advocates knew how their customers were being treated, they would be surprised. No wonder they are losing desperately needed sales.

@boxonwheels Wayne is one of the board moderators. If you'll do as he requests, your problem will probably get fixed. Qvcsocialteam@qvc.com

It's not a credit card it's a gift card. If everything is as she is. saying I don't see why QVC could not credit her gift card.
I really think after reading all of the problems that people have with using debit cards and now gift cards the only way to buy from QVC is using a credit cards.

@50Mickey The gift cards are issued and administered by a third party company. They've got the money and control what happened to it, not QVC. Others have has similar problems.

Regardless of who's in control, who's at fault or whatever other excuse anyone wants to make, if QVC can't afford to simply send this woman a $100 gift card and call it done then something is very wrong. This should be an easy fix. It does not need to be this complicated.

Maybe if you go to the Better Business Bureau @boxonwheels , place a complaint and explain what happened, you will get your issue resolved.
