Terrible Experience Placing Order

I had the most terrible experience placing an order with QVC. I am new to the site and made a new account to place an order. My order would not place and I was instructed to go through support. I get on a call with support and spend about 20 minutes of my day trying to place an order which finally went through. A couple of hours later, I receive an email saying I need more verification and to call their customer service for verification. This verification support line is terrible, as you have to leave a voice mail with your email, order number, and your phone number for a callback. I wasn't sure if I was doing this right and did it a couple of times trying to figure it out. I checked online for this problem and saw many people have the same issue. More time passes and I finally get a call back from a verification specialist. The specialist was quite rude to me while they spoke and ask for all types of information which I provided. I was told I would hear receive an email regarding the status of the order after the verification call which should have taken about "5 minutes". I asked them to stay on call to help them through any problem they may have. I was told I would receive a call back if any problems arose. I check on my order status after an hour to see what was going on and come to see my order was canceled. I did not receive any callbacks regarding an issue and did not receive any emails. I then call support again to ask what happened and support can't help since it was out of their department. And I can't reach the department since it goes straight to voice mail. All I wanted was some gifts for the holiday season. My time was wasted, my money is on hold, and support was of no help.

You're purchasing gifts two days before Xmas???

I don't celebrate Christmas. I have a birthday coming up.

Not so strange.  I see so many posts like this.  I don't know what motivates people I can only guess they may be in need of attention by exaggeration of some silly issue that will not get resolved by any of us.

I'm sorry you see it as so. All I wanted to do was place an order which I haven't been able to do. I reach out to support and they are no help so I came here to express the issues I had.

@Azan21   If theres a problem with your credit or finances, that is not something  with which qvc is willing or able to give assistance or to discuss at length.  Its up to you to clean it up before trying to use it

Thats the thing. There is no problem with my finances. Its QVC whos having trouble placing the order
