I loved the Temptations line and have numerous pieces from baking dishes to cxandles and figurals however the pieces do not hold up and neither QVC or Temptations stands behind the item. I have 2 pieces that developed the exact same issue after minimal use. All my pieces were used rarely ,stored carefully ,hand washed and used at a baking temperature of 350 or less. I reported the first piece which cracked in half in the first few months. QVC did not warranty it. I let it go thinking maybe I did something wrong. Now, my 9 x 13 recatagular baking dish is doing the exact same thing. I contacted QVC who told me to contact Temptations who would work with me since I was outside the warranty .Temptations said to work with QVC. They cant do anything to help me. My mistake was donating all my durable old cookware like Pyrex and Corelle which Ive had 30-40 years and NEVER had issues like this stuff. Dont waste you money!

My temptations is cracking as well. When I called their customer service I was told to ONLY wash in a dishwasher as they will absorb water if submerged in water. I'm sorry, but that's just nuts. Big assumption that everyone owns a dishwasher or uses it exclusively. I wanted to replace a saucer. The replacement was free, the postage to mail it to me was $10. I'm not going to pay to watch another one crack. I'll just keep throwing the cracked ones away and eventually replace with stoneware that doesn't crack. Since they're made in China I have no idea what kind of glaze is used and how safe it might be to use after the glaze is cracked.

I have many Temptations pieces, which I rarely use now since two of the rectangle dishes developed cracks across the bottom. I switched to Rachel Ray's ovenware and haven't had any issues.

Guess Temptations isn't all that it's "cracked" up to be...sorry for pun, but I never bought one piece because I didn't think it was that great.

The only piece I have is the 9 X 13 baking dish, which I really just use once in awhile to make box brownies. I won't ever buy anymore, due to all the problems people report. Frankly, none of the patterns really appeal to me. I just bought that one when it was a TSV. Too bad no one will stand behind their wares that they make a ton off money from, or even address the issue.

I received a set of Temptations as a gift, which I use rarely in the oven. I also own pieces that are just for serving and measuring. When I received the set as a gift, I wisely did not donate my reliable Corningware and Pyrex baking pieces. I personally have not had problems with my Temptations except for some minor crazing in the bottom of one of my large rectangular pieces, but have read here numerous times about those that have. If QVC/Temptations refuses to help you, there is only one way everyone can rectify this, and that is by not purchasing this product any longer. If QVC sees that the stuff is not moving and taking up warehouse space, maybe they will either fix the problem or discontinue the line. Tara has made a great deal of money with this line; you would think that she would care for the customer more. Why QVC discontinued a quality line like Polish Stoneware for Temptations has been a mystery to me.

I am so glad I never bought any TT and stuck with my tried and true, made in USA, Pyrex and CorningWare, and Corelle dishes.
Never a problem, other than a broken lid (I dropped it) on a Corningware dish, and I found a replacement on eBay.

Love my Pyrex. I have a 2-cup measring cup that I bought in 1968 when I moved out of my parents home. The red markings have faded some, probably from washing in the dishwasher which I no longer do.. I do have a couple of TT bakeware pieces, but I've only used them for cold food. After reading other posters' problems with it, I'm afraid to use it in the oven.
Sure hope Tara had a nice wedding & honeymoon.

Years and years and years ago I bought Temptation's first TSV. Several pieces and in the Blue. I wasn't impressed at all. I kept them (I don't know why because I never used them) and just a year or two ago I sold the entire set on eBay. I've been collecting Gloria's Polish Stoneware (started on QVC and continue to buy off her website The Zanger Company). The stuff is amazing. In all the years I've been collecting (I use my dinnerware every day) not one piece has chipped, cracked or gotten crazed..... love it! ![]()
