Is this the new norm? If so I wont be ordering shoes frm QVC anymore. The shoe box gets dinged, bent & damaged in the plastic bags that clothes are shipped in. I don't know who's genius idea this was but its not going to work for this customer.

@spursfan2 I know your frustration is about the shoe box getting dinged, bent & damaged but how was the shoes themselves, were they okay?

  I was looking at shoes at another site last week & several reviews mentioned that shoes weren't shipped in boxes at all, just a plastic bag and that gave me qualms.

I've never received shoes in a bag.  They are always in a box.

Of my last two shoe orders, one came in a box and one in a bag.  Of course returns with the bag are pretty much impossible, so I suggest keeping at least one sound shoe shipping box at the ready in case you need to send shoes back.

I think Spenco ships all their shoes in bags.  Okay with me as it doesn't hurt the shoes and I hate the waste and disposal of shoe bixes.

Today was the first time I have received shoes in a bag. They were Skechers. One corner of the box was smashed flat. Shoes were ok. I agree it makes returns/exchanges nearly impossible. Maybe thats the plan.

I don't understand why a bag makes them impossible to return?

I have received shoes in box, in bag MANY times!  NO problems.

I have rec'd shoes in box, in outer box....and when I returned them....I put them in a BAG to return. 

If I am paying for the return shipping, why would I spend extra money on postage of a big outter box??

If I am returning a defect or exchange (using the prepaid label)....I can't fit that box in my mailbox for free pick up and don't want to leave it out unattended.

Out of the box and into a bag go the shoes (with their shoe box, NOT loose)

Kohls is very bad about shipping their shoe boxes in bags. Ugh! 9 out of 10 times the boxes arrive all beat up. Absolutely hate that. I may be weird about this, but I keep my shoes in their original boxes. I can keep shoes looking great for a long time. So, when a box arrives demolished, I have to look for an alternative, which is not fun!

I ordered shoes from DSW recently and they were shipped in a plastic bag.  The boxes were mangled.  I keep my shoes in the boxes so this is very disappointing.
