I placed an order for a Hairdo wig on 22 March. Here is the progression of the package: started out from NC, shipped to NJ, from there to MD, and then finally to VA! I received the package this morning. Why wouldn’t a package just be sent directly from NC (point of origin) to Virginia, one state away? Why would the package travel up and down the East Coast prior to receipt? I just had to ask this question. There may be an answer, but does anyone know what it is? Is this a warehouse problem or a postal one? I am just curious, as this type of thing happens frequently.

Just a guess, but I think it has to do with the location of shipping hubs. My packages sometimes go through a crazy route, too. Just like with flying....sometimes have to go through Atlanta or Chicago, for example, to grt from A to B even though the hub city is not in a direct route to the location.

I really hate that QVC has not gotten with the 21st century and ship items much quicker.  Why does it take 2 weeks to get packages but I can order from London and get it in 4 days.  RIDICULOUS, GET WITH THE TIMES.
