Good news/bad news: One of the 1/5 orders was a set of Don Anslett microfiber mats. The other was a D&Co chenille fleece top. Stay with me - it gets more interesting now. . . Arrived home & saw a box on my porch as I pulled in. When I went to see, there was just 1 box. ![]()
Wait! new tracking info says both were delivered by local post office. At this point, I looked closer to compare time of delivery - maybe the other came after I brought the box inside. Did you guess yet? Yup, they were both in the same box. Hooray, my orders came.
I'm pretty sure that neither Don Anslett or D&Co is mfr of the other's products, so order must have been shpd out of a QVC distribution center in California to Massachusetts. Hard to understand that, but worse is the matter of the post office playing 'Where's Waldo' with my package(s). As I wrote yesterday: So my 2 orders, finally arrived in Chelmsford MA, north of Boston on 1/13. I live south of Boston I know it will arrive soon. But wait, it next goes to NH which is north, in the wrong direction. The next day, it goes south, past me to Kingston MA, then back to my local post office. This is a zig zag pattern, and my items were in Massachusetts 2 days before being delivered. Not the first time. I try to find humor in things & I know I have other choices - not placing orders, using Amazon Prime & other online vendors with standard sizing.
But, I would actually like to understand why QVC is allowing/agreed a delivery system like this? I have liked QVC and never had problems with delivery until now. I'm pretty sure QVC's massive size allows them to dictate terms when they sign contracts with UPS, Fedex, etc., so maybe they are just saving money.
Yesterday was the first time since the mid 70's that I ever wrote on a QVC blog. That fact speaks the loudest. Anyone listening?

I ordered 9 clothing items on one order...QVC ships them out in five separate packages! After a talk with customer service I asked why five separate packages since I placed ONE order...answer....we always ship items in multiple packages. She did tell me I could try and get those I needed to return back in one package but they won’t so i will be
Ding multiple shipping back to QVC. Also told them I would be cancelling my account ...after 20 years I have reached my limit with QVC on the lack of customer service and will be going back to brick and mortar stores who don’t divide up one order into five.
