@Carina - If you're seeing the status "Preparing Your Order," that means your items will be shipped very soon or have already been shipped but not updated in the system. I've actually had items delivered with that status still showing.

It is important to keep in mind that third-party vendors ship most of the items QVC sells, so it can take some time to properly document and communicate shipping activities among systems (including the courier systems), and some vendors are definitely more prompt with the process than others.

Hopefully, you'll get your items soon! I have been having very good luck with my orders lately, receiving most of them within a week even when they have to travel all the way across the country. Good luck...

I ordered a waterhog door mat from LL Bean on Tues 11-19. I figured I wouldn't receive it until after Thanksgiving.

UPS delivered it today?

This is why they will never succeed by selling off the air & on social media or stream instead. Its unacceptable and the big A & W have primarily 3rd party sellers who ship w in 24 hrs, arriving in 2-4 days, or same day w Prime.

@Clovis1

Well QVC has been around for about 38 years and CVN before that.

Their processing and shipping has also been slow....and they are still here.

I wouldn't cry the sky is falling just yet.

I would never buy anything from QVC or HSN that I needed in a hurry.  If I needed something that fast, I'd shop local.

Sometimes I am mildly surprised how quickly something arrives....other times, not so much.

QVC does NOT sell life sustaining items.

The Holidays are the same time every year....no surprises there.

Since supply chain issues, we have all learned to shop early.

Some of us are not in a hurry to get our items and know better when ordering.

Re: Shipping /Packaging time

It is unreasonable to compare any company to Amazon in terms of order processing or shipping—no other retailer comes close to it in size, reach, amount of inventory, number of employees, or funding, let alone the fact that it has its own courier services plus priority fulfillment agreements with UPS and the USPS.

And Amazon is far from perfect in its delivery timeframes; I live within 30 minutes of two Amazon processing hubs, including one of the largest hubs in the country, and their success rate in getting overnight or next-day orders to my doorstep on time is just over 50%. I rarely order anything with a truly time-sensitive delivery window, but ever since Amazon instituted the overnight ordering options, I've found that many of my orders move more slowly than before and never arrive before early evening rather than the noon timeframe I used to always appreciate. (And if I do request an overnight delivery, I have to be prepared for whatever I ordered to be packaged in a non-padded poly mailer; I avoid this option now because I've received so many damaged items.)

Mostly, though, I'm just happy that Amazon doesn't use FedEx, and in all the years I've shopped at QVC, I've only had one item shipped via FedEx—they are absolutely awful in my area, with constantly late and frequently damaged shipments because it's clear they don't manage their processes well and their drivers don't care. I finally stopped saving all my camera footage of boxes being thrown at my porch from 20 feet away and the "delivery confirmation" photos that show a picture of my house from the truck before anything is even delivered. I'll take the sometimes slow (but fortunately, rarely slow for my orders) shipping from QVC over that nonsense anytime. Smiley Wink

@Clovis1  I order mostly clothing.  My orders ship in an average of 3 days.  Once in a while 4 days and occasionally in 1 day.  I'm quite happy with the shipping and find it's as good or better than with other retailers where I shop.

Re: Shipping /Packaging time

I have found many companies that wait a few days before the item is shipped.  Whenever I order from Lands End, it seems like its 4 or 5 days before I receive email that item is being shipped.
