I know that QVC's return policy is 30 days from date item is received. My question is this: what if item was at Post Office. The postal carrier refused to ring the buzzer and simply left a notice. Arranged a redelivery and they never showed up. I made my way to the PO and picked it up.
Do I count the days from attempted delivery? Or the time that it was marked "Delivered."?

The scenario you have outlined certainly qualifies as "mitigating circumstances"! If you decide to return the social team would be happy to assist you in the return.

Recently a poster asked about buying a gift for an occasion a couple of months in the future, wondering if she could return it if it wasn't suitable. The mod who answered said yes, they'd take it back. I wondered how you convince the returns department of that?

We do have a gift return policy similar to our Christmas return. Also we (the Social Team) are happy to intercede with our warehouse to ensure the correct return.

I was trying to a little research about the item and I think it might not hold up for what I orginally intended.
I actually received the item on 4/17--because I had to retrieve the package myself.
Is it possible to return? Thanks.

@JavaQueen - For my returns, I always count my 30 days from the delivery date to the date I deliver it to the post office. QVC has always accepted my returns. Some mail order companies require your return to be back at their warehouse by the 30th day (or however long the return period is).
