Re: Receiving someone’s return

@Fona

I don't understand it either, Fona.  Surely when these were returned , they were returned for a refund or replacement for a "reason, "  but either way , shouldn't they be inspected before being sent back into inventory?   Inspections of returns should be a "must."

I wouldn't purchase something in a store that was an obvious return , especially if it was damaged or had obvious signs of wear.   IT wasn't stated as such nor was it discounted- so I expect to receive new- as that is the price I paid.  This could not even be sold "as is."   Where you lace the shoe is completely ripped out down the middle of  the right shoe with strings dangling.

What is it the "Q" stands for ?

Re: Receiving someone’s return

I complain when I am wronged- but just the same I give credit where credit is due.

I want to thank Alice for responding to me and bringing this to a satisfactory resolution that I was not offered- via phone call to customer service.

Though I am still very disappointed in the matter , I am very pleased with Alice  - a true asset to QVC.  Thank you again.

@Anonymous @twocent  I added her name so she could see it!  I agree with @Pearlee the mods help SO much more than phoning CS.

Re: Receiving someone’s return

I just hate getting returns...don’t even want them in my home when I don’t know who has done what with them.I don’t want shoes that someone has worn possibly barefoot or clothing that has been on someone for a day or two while the made up their mind.

Re: Receiving someone’s return

@twocent Just an FYI.  When I ordered a clothing item from HSN recently, I received the wrong size (the correct size was on the packaging, but different on the clothing item).  I called them and they sent out a new item immediately and said to just use the return label (no charge) and return the others one within 10 days.  Now THAT's service!  (I received the new item in just a couple days.)

@dex

Good way these days to get bed bugs !

I just wish QVC would re-visit handling returns.  I think they should never go back into regular inventory where they will  be shipped back out as "new."

@2blonde

Thank you for bringing this up.  I have had the same experience at HSN.    They are  wonderful and did ship out a replacement immediately and waived shipping when I had an issue with an order.

I was sent out the wrong size in a pair of DG2 jeans and they did not require they receive the wrong item back prior to sending out the correct size that I had ordered. They were anxious to make things right for the customer- ASAP.

You have a time frame in which they require you to return the item- but it is more than generous.

Re: Receiving someone’s return

@twocent, had the same thing happen with Amazon. Rec'd something broken, they immediately shipped another, all I had to do was print out something to put in the return box, and hand to the UPS guy, who had the return label with him.

Think after 30 days they would have billed me for the second shipment. Great experience.

Re: Receiving someone’s return

@twocent  That's funny because it was also a pair of DG2 capris where I received the wrong size (a 4 instead of a 2).  That actually was the second time that exact thing had with DG2 jeans!

Mine were jeans and I have purchased so many , I don't recall if they were capris or skinny jeans. lol  **Hangs head in shame**

  I do know it  had the correct size on my invoice and the tag had the correct size but the jeans were no 8T!  LOL  I wasn't that tiny in the womb !
