For the third time in the last 3months I received an item different from the one i ordered. The second time this happened, the item I originally ordered had been sold out! Today I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told no one was available. I'm getting disgusted having to return items I never ordered. Lately I've been shopping online at Chicos and Chicos on the Rack. When they have sales, prices are goof. There is great variety and good quality. Sorry to say, because I am a longtime QVC customer, but I'm shopping where there are perks like loyalty discounts and special offers every week!

If Chicos works for you vs QVC sounds like you're making a good choice.

I'm still happy with QVC even with the occasional issue.

In all my years of ordering from QVC (some time in the early 90s), this happened to me in December! I finally ordered a Barefoot Dreams sweater that I decided to treat myself to as a Christmas present and wanted to wear it on Christmas Day. The sweater I received was a BD but totally different than what I ordered, and $50 more costwise. One thing I did learn is that I'm not interested in purchasing this brand, it wasn't anything special. It took nearly a month to receive a refund on my first easy pay charge, but I got it without question. I expected to have to pay s/h but the entire amount was refunded. I'm thinking they knew there was an issue for Christmas shipping, maybe they hired more inexperienced clerks. I don't expect it to be an ongoing issue and surprised it happened to you three times. I wouldn't give up, even though it can be an inconvenience.

Earlier this week I received what I thought was going to be a Denim & Co chenille sweatshirt I ordered but when I opened the package there was an old Isaac Mizrahi t-shirt in the plastic bag with the Denim & co label on it. Someone had taken the sweatshirt out of it's plastic bag & replaced it with that old t-shirt & then shipped it.  So--bottom line--someone in the Rock Hill, SC warehouse stole that sweatshirt.  I've had this happen before with an order shipping from that location. I called customer service but they couldn't do anything other than issue a credit to my card for that initial shipment. There were no more Chenille sweatshirts in stock to replace it with. So that person in the warehouse will continue to be able to do this.  Nice for the customers.

Update: This happened again yesterday with this original order.  I ordered 2 Denim & co Chenille sweathshirts.  Someone switched the item in the plastic bag for a totally different item & it was shipped.  Yesterday the second color Chenille sweatshirt I ordered arrived after being misdirected by UPS. When I opened the bag the same thing had happened. Someone put a mock neck long sleeve tunic in the clear plastic bag that was labeled "Chenille Sweatshirt" and shipped it.  Both of these came from the Rock Hill, SC warehouse.   I called customer service & talked to a supervisor ot complain.   I'm done! No more QVC.

I received the wrong Dooney purse last week. I ordered an As Is of a blue Florentine and received a grey Saffiano. And the style was also totally different.

About six months ago, I ordered a purse and received Tarte makeup instead.
Warehouse or ordering staff people are not paying attention.

2nd time for me  in the last few months.

First instead of a Susan Graver top I received SG jeans ( that too in a size I do not wear!).

This time it is a random Belle blouse instead of the sweater I ordered.

Does QVC have a specific department that deals with inconsistencies and problems like this?

@bolotara   it has happened to me several times.  Of course mistakes happen.  I've received the wrong item but it was in a package labeled correctly. The problem is a lot of times the correct item is sold out in your size and color and it's very disappointing.  I have also on several occasions received other customers' merchandise

I ordered Susan Graver pants in P small. I received them in Px large.  Called to send back and have had several issues
with them. After reading your comments I realize I am not alone. I may not be ordering from QVC again. I will need to get my credit card removed. Thanks for the info.

This has happened to me before, but considering everything I order it doesn't bother me much!

The one time I was upset was right before this past Christmas. I ordered three America and Beyond pouches in a beach scene for gifts. I received three Europe scenes instead. Of course, at the time they were sold out!  Smiley Frustrated

If you see this has happened more freuqently in recent days, imagine what is the cause.
