I would love to leave reviews on my products, QVC, but your website demands that we allow pop-ups, and our setup on our home computer does not want to allow that nor does it allow that.

Could you possibly change this feature?  It would allow many of your customers to post their reviews and help others with their selections.

Otherwise, we just cannot leave reviews due to your pop-up demand.

Thanks so much!

@slmsia - I have a pop-up blocker that blocks a lot of unwanted content on this website but it doesn't prevent me from completing reviews. What happens when you try to post a review? The new process is a bit cumbersome, so it is possible the issue is not actually tied to your pop-up blocker or there could be a simple workaround.

I stopped leaving reviews, when it posted my real name against one.  Didn't warn me ahead of submitting the review and gave no option to use my nic, as it always has done in the past.

That was some time ago and it's never been fixed, although it was brought to the attention of CS (not just by me).  So no more reviews by me.

Same here @slmsia. I won't disable it to leave a review.

Ditto

I have a blocker and leave reviews all the time.

My reviews have never and still don't post my real name.

Weird!

@loriqvc I get a response telling me to deactivate my pop up blocker and it shows me how to do so. So I abandon the review. It does depend on the browser I'm using, if it is Google I have no issues but if I am using Duck Duck Go it will not post.

@We rescue cats - I haven't experienced anything like that with my pop-up blocker on the QVC website; if you look carefully at the dialog box, is there an option for something similar to "Continue without disabling"? Almost all the websites I visit that don't like pop-up blockers include that, even if it's in tiny text in a bottom corner. Or can you just click "behind" the dialog box to go back to the review screen? I don't think this website is very sophisticated, so perhaps that's a non-obvious option. Good luck!

RE: We Rescue Cats

Yes, I have the same problem.  I have been a long time QVC customer and when we used to leave a review we never had this issue.

You get the review all typed up and subject line, and questions answered, etc.  and it will say something to the effect "your browswer will not allow pop-up ads, please allow..."  First of all, we don't WANT to allow pop-up ads anywhere on our browser, and this is something fairly new with QVC reviews probably for algorithms or marketing purposes, but we can definitely see at the top of the computer in the tab line a drop down box that says
"this site (QVC) wants to allow pop-up ads, and gives us the option to "allow QVC only" to do so.  As I said, we will not allow pop-up ads with our server (of which we are very happy with) and QVC a while back never had this "feature."  We leave reviews on all the other websites we purchase from, so other customers can make an informed decision to buy or not, and we never run into this request...and I would say we leave reviews without 3 other major websites.  So, thanks for all your help everyone and commiseration, but I guess we will just have to continue to not leave a review on all we buy from QVC until or if they decide to change this.  No harm, no foul.  Just like to help out.  I know we like to read reviews before we buy products...they do help!  Thanks again, everyone who replied.

@We rescue cats    I was intrigued by your post.   I use DuckDuckGo for browsing the internet but not for QVC.  So I went on DDG to,leave a review and it didn't ask me for my name and it used by Q name not my real name

I don't often take the time to review but just tried to post one and received a "Whoops Something Went Wrong... Try Again Later." I took the time to describe in detail to assist someone in a purchase and am not going to go back and try it again.
