When I select to drop off my "return item" at a UPS store, am I supposed to repack it or do I just bring the item and let UPS pack it? If I'm supposed to pack it, does it necessarily need to be the same packaging? Can I put more than one return item in the same package?

I wouldn't take a return to any shipper and expect them to repackage it for me. That's your job.
Usually, when people go this route, they use the return label and use the same packaging if it's still usable.
I HAVE included more than one return item in a package, with all the appropriate return information, BUT please be sure to email CS and inform them you are doing so.
If the person who processes your returns only issues a credit for one of the two items, what recourse do you have to prove you sent something else back in the same package?
If you have documented with CS what you've done, they will give you the benefit of the doubt .... at least, that's been my experience.

@Goldengate8361. Doesn't need to be the same package but it does need to be appropriately packaged. They don't like it but I do sometimes put similar items in the same package.

I never call ahead to say I'm adding multiple items. I haven't had any problems doing that either.

@Tinkrbl44 @Kachina624 @@Thank you for responding.
fYI - for many of my Amazon returns, I am specifically asked to NOT package it myself....and to simply bring the item to UPS and let "them" package it. That's why I was asking.

@Goldengate8361. I assume @Tinkrbl44 is not an Amazon Shopper and doesn't know many of us are accustomed to returning unpacked returns to UPS.

@santorini. I don't either. I don't think CS cares how many items we put in a package.

I would make certain that you have a label that UPS accepts and not USPS. I was told by my UPS drop off an hour ago I didn't have the correct bar code for UPS on the enclosed label and they go to the P.O.
I had a broken pair of ear rings broken off before shipping out and a duplicate JR shirt sent so received two if the same shirts. They were sent back in two separate bags and went out USPS. I am tired of so many QVC errors and having to return when it their mistakes. I recently posted before that last week two incorrect items repacked and sent out to return for the correct size and item replacement.

Since the question was in Customer Care, I assumed it was a QVC return, and I think my response was accurate.
Nowhere did I see "Amazon" mentioned in the original post.
I prefer Ebay to Amazon, so, no, not a big shopper there.
If @Goldengate8361 was asking about an Amazon return and not a QVC return, she probably should have said so, to avoid confusion.

@Tinkrbl44 @Thank you for responding. I appreciate the kindness of folks like you and others on this forum. Perhaps I could have been clearer. 😸
