Re: Quick question about returns

@Tinkrbl44.  It was a QVC  return but the OP was asking because she's accustomed to returning her Amazon purchases unpacked and though perhaps UPS  had that policy for all returns, which, of course, they dont.

I would make certain that you have a label that UPS accepts and not USPS. I was told by my UPS drop off  an hour ago I didn't have the correct bar code for UPS on the enclosed label and  they go to the P.O.

I had a broken pair of ear rings broken off before shipping out and a duplicate JR shirt sent so received two if the same shirts. They were sent back in two separate bags and went out USPS. I am tired of so many QVC errors and having to return when it their mistakes. I recently  posted before that  last week two incorrect items  repacked and sent out to return for the correct size and item replacement.

@Gorgf - I'm sorry that happened to you; UPS should accept all QVC returns even if they're marked for the USPS because with the system QVC has set up this year, all packages will be processed by UPS eventually. I don't think all UPS stores have employees who are aware of this, so it can certainly be frustrating for everyone.

(Note: You won't get an acceptance receipt if you drop off a USPS return at a UPS location, but they should still take the package and be able to process it, and you can use the tracking number to track package progress via the UPS website. I've done this many times already this year since it saves me a trip when I have a QVC return that actually came with a label, virtually always set up for USPS, plus a return where I had to request the label online, virtually always set up for UPS.)

Re: Quick question about returns

@loriqvc  Thank you for the information.  It was kind of you to respond. I was thinking that HSN sends two labels and your choice USPS or UPS. UPS apologized but in no way going to take my pkgs. We have a satellite PO in a grocery store but they refuse Q returns saying have to go to the PO with that particular label. I used to be able to drop them off there. I'd even print my own but that one seemed to indicate by  an actual PO address it HAS to go there?

Luckily, my returns are minimal usually mistakes or damaged goods Q sent or damaged by shippers. The shipping is transferred sometimes now from UPS to USPS as I look on tracking so difficult to figure out at times who is in charge?
