Does QVC have a sponsorship or affiliation with the ads that are on their website?

Hi @butterfly123

QVC.com is displaying ads that are relevant to you, based on your viewing preferences across the web.

@butterfly123 I'm not getting ads. What kind of ads are you getting?

I do use Adblock Plus (it's free) It blocks a lot of junk.

I downloaded a version of Adblock this morning.  It's doing a good job so far.

I don't get ads, and I don't use Ad Block.  Am viewing on a desktop computer using Chrome.

The only problem with AdBlock is that it prevents you from using the rebate sites like MrRebates, Ebates, etc.

I'm not getting ads and I don't use AdBlock.  I'm on a Mac using Safari.

You can block all ads via your settings (which depend on the device you're using). I never get ads.

I use Adblock Plus and what I do is disable it for this site so that MrRebates can go through and work properly.   You can either disable it on sites temporarily, or just leave them disabled.  I have it disabled here and am not seeing ANY ads, still.

Wondering just who (device-wise and OS-wise) and why some are seeing ads. I'm not using any ad blocker (not available for Chrome on an iPad Air 2) and I haven't seen a single ad. If I do start seeing them I'll just switch to Safari and use Ad Blocker.

QVC has to know that everyone hates this type of advertising and almost never clicks on these links; they serve only to irritate, here or anywhere else they're shoved in our faces.

So, either sites that allow this make a LOT of money from the advertising, are clueless as to how much people hate it, or they just don't GA*. Beats me.
