When doing housework,etc I do not wear jewelry. Do not understand the "I never take my jewelry off'.

I have never purchased fine jewelry from shopping channels. 

Risk is real, especially concerning fine gems or diamonds.

Did you really expect them to replace a diamond? Diamonique has a warranty because it is not a real diamond. Does any jeweler replace a lost diamond? I'm sure you are honest but people would be taking advantage of that warranty!

23 years ago I bought a diamond ring, the diamond was guaranteed and would be replaced if it fell out, the condition wa that the prongs had to be checked every 6 months.  I kept up with it the first 10 years but haven't been good about it lately but I do get the prongs redone on their dime occasionally.
