Mods know is this final yet ? HSN never charges me sales tax. Q does.

I'm afraid Q will , when they take over. I know it has to do with the state your in.

The deal is final. QVC replaced some of the HSN execs with former Q execs.

I did my own research and it was more of a stock buying deal instead of cash deal.

I just don't want to have to pay Texas huge sales tax any more then I have too.

My understanding is that Liberty, which owns QVC and already owned a percentage of HSN bought out HSN... But yes, sadly, it does appear as though HSN management took the hit, while QVC's questionable management largely survived unscathed...

Never a problem before the purchase.nothing but problems since.!!!!!

Re: QVC bought HSN

[ Edited ]

I placed a big order with HSN that had something I wanted 60 cheaper then Q and no shp and no sales tax. I was all over that deal and got flex pay too.

(savings in sales tax was almost 20.00)

Why are people still saying that QVC bought HSN? As far as I read, (I will use two words, hope I don't offend anyone) they were adopted by Liberty. Liberty is making the decisions, not QVC.  Liberty is their daddy. That's my take on it, I could be wrong.

@Sage04

Technically Liberty owns both networks but Q has replaced the upper HSN management with Q execs. So it is more of a takeover.
