Expedited shipping does not mean Q gets it out any faster, just that the carrier should be making expedited deliveries.
If you are a new customer, they may need more info to verify the purchases, credit card info to be sure you were the one making the purchases, etc... especially if they are large $$.

If you can buy the same products some place else that's what I would do.
You are right you will not receive your items in 2 days? That's never going to happen.
I stopped shopping with Q long ago when I had to call to ask for my refund for my return? Seriously?

If that's how expedited shipping works with Q I would never pay for it. Expedited shipping is when Q ships the order right after it's placed so you receive it in 2 days if you pay for 2 day shipping.
Your explanation just makes no sense? Why would you pay expedited shipping if Q can't expedite?

I sure wouldn't pay extra, but I guarantee you that IS how it works!
There have been so many complaints about it on the boards for years.
The size of the warehouses, logistical differences etc. does not allow for them to send one person to run out and grab your item immediately upon placing the order.

That's just crazy. They should issue people a refund that pay for expedited shipping if they cannot expedite. I would be mad.
I don't get why they have so many issues with shipping & returns?
Same during Christmas they always say they guarantee you will get it to you by Christmas knowing the shipping methods won't get it there in time?

That's exactly how it works and I encounter the same at many other sites. I usually check either the FAQs or shipping policy and it will specify how long until it leaves the actual warehouse or store.

@Nightowlz. The explanation given may make no sense but that's the way it is. Processing is the same for all orders; it's the transportation that's expedited.

We have no idea what you purchased, or how expensive the items were, or what form of payment you used.
In this day and age fraud is rampant, and I am sure that there was something that QVC needed to double-check, especially if you are a new customer.
There is really no need to have anything delivered in two days right now since Christmas is over a month away, but I am sure if you pay for expedited delivery, QVC will attempt to do so, but they do NOT control the delivery systems.
I have never encountered CS not answering--maybe you have the wrong number.
